Hot-Air Balloon Glow

Since 2010, Children’s Smile Center’s largest and signature annual fundraiser has been the annual Hot-Air Balloon Glow, also known as GLOW. This year's event happens Friday, June 20, 2025, at the Finley River Park in downtown Ozark, Missouri. GLOW is held on the grounds of the two-day Sertoma Duck Race Festival and is free to the public. Several hot-air balloons will inflate at dusk providing an amazing light display against the contrast of the nighttime sky. Balloons are tethered to the ground and do not take flight so attendees can enjoy a 60-to-90-minute light show, pending weather and wind speeds. All attendees can see the colorful hot-air balloons on display at night, so bring your camera! For those who provide corporate sponsorships, you and your guest(s) will enjoy the VIP Experience, including a private catered dinner on the grounds with the pilots and their crew, as well as a private opportunity for photos and pilot interaction before the crowd of many thousands are allowed to come in the balloon field.

Price Cutter Charity Championship

The Price Cutter Charity Championship is the premier PGA professional golf event of the Korn Ferry Tour, attracting the best and brightest golf pros who are working to earn their PGA TOUR card. The leaderboards of PGA TOUR events nationwide are full of golf stars who, as recent as two to five years ago, were playing golf in Springfield at the Price Cutter Charity Championship (also known as the PCCC).

Annually, the PCCC distributes over $1 million to local children's charities in southwest Missouri, including Children's Smile Center. The PCCC of the Korn Ferry Tour is held each year in July at Highland Springs Country Club near Springfield.

There are a number of ways you can participate in the PCCC, while at the same time directly supporting Children's Smile Center:

purchase four raffle tickets for $100, or ten raffle tickets for $250, or twenty raffle tickets for $500 . . . . for chances to win a new Toyota Tacoma truck, or a $10,000 cash prize
donate items of value (gift cards, gift certificates, and/or items that people would want to bid on) for the very large annual Golf Ball & Charity Auction

Cops for Kids Fishing Tournament

Since 2011, Children’s Smile Center has been one of the two benefiting charities of the Cops for Kids Fishing Tournament on Table Rock Lake. Founded and originally produced by the Missouri Water Patrol Association, the event over the past 30+ years, has evolved to a separate nonprofit organization, Cops for Kids, Inc., which is run by a small group of volunteers from mostly southern Stone County. Held each year on Tuesday, May 6, this professional bass tournament brings together both pro and amateur anglers for a worthy cause. Supporters of Children’s Smile Center can further the success of this event by finding more anglers (both men and women) to fish in the event, provide corporate sponsorships, and donate items and gift cards or certificates for the silent auction.
